A Day To Learn
A Day to LearnThe intent of this forum is to provide a safe place for our black community to be listened to and educate our non POC community including families with young children to participate in spreading awareness for Black Lives Matter and systemic racism. We want to show everyone who attends the importance of standing up for equity and social justice. It is important that we allow space for our community to participate and learn from the movement to further understand and support Black Lives Matter. We also want to share the hope we have of the future by hearing experiences from our youth activists. |

Divest Starbucks
Starbucks Divest MarchFeaturing speakers and performances at the final destination of the march: the reserve roastery. Did you know: Starbucks (alongside corporations like Microsoft, Costco, Amazon and more) are donors to the Seattle Police Foundation, which SPD often depends on to function. This foundation helps with supplying the police with supplies and latest “police technology” and advanced worn gear. Seattle police foundation has little to no oversight on their budget, unlike the money provided by the city. |
